The Business Intelligence Developer plays a critical role in transforming data from various sources into actionable insights, reports, and dashboards that empower business leaders to make informed strategic and tactical decisions. In a dynamic Food & Beverage manufacturing environment, this role is essential in driving efficiency across the supply chain, supporting data-driven decision-making for production, inventory, and financial performance. The BI Developer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and reporting excellence, particularly within Oracle Fusion Cloud's Supply Chain Manufacturing and Financial modules.

Responsibilities

Maintain current Business Intelligence Platform (Pre-Oracle Fusion Cloud Migration)

Maintain and support the existing BI platform (Microsoft SQL Server, Power BI, SSRS, Tableau) during the ERP migration to Oracle Fusion Cloud.Perform ETL tasks, including data extraction and transformation from various sources (on-prem and cloud).Create data visualizations, executive dashboards, and reports to support decision-making across departments.Administer Power BI and other Microsoft tools, including resource management and licensing.Provide training on the best practices for data reporting tools.Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP Reporting and External Data Warehousing (Post-Migration)

Lead the development and modification of BI reporting using Oracle-specific tools, such as OTBI, Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), and Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).Good understanding of Fusion schema, subject areas, and expertise in creating reports joining multiple subject areas with emphasis on SCM and FIN tables in Oracle Fusion CloudDesign and manage enterprise-wide dashboards and reports, ensuring best practices for data presentation and user experience.Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical BI solutions.Support external data warehousing needs using Snowflake and integrate reporting tools like Power BI in Oracle Fusion Cloud.Develop and maintain analysis datasets, including database views, tables, and marts in Oracle and Snowflake.Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data through comprehensive validation and auditing processes, always optimizing performance and scalability.Keep abreast of the latest developments in Oracle BI technologies and recommend enhancements to existing systems.Provide training and support to business users on Oracle BI tools, enhancing their ability to generate insights and make data-driven decisions.Embrace our Data Strategy and Data Science Development (Future Goal)

Assist in laying the foundation for future data science initiatives, including the development of predictive and statistical analysis tools.Leverage Python and R for advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling in coordination with business needs.Familiarity with systems of statistical and predictive analysis using tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, Scitkit-learn), R (ggplot2), SQL and NoSQL databases.Implement and maintain robust data governance strategies, focusing on quality, transparency, and security.Performs other job-related duties as required.

Required Knowledge and Skills

•Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred.

•7+ years of experience in BI development, with 3+ years of experience on Oracle tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud, OTBI, Oracle BI Publisher, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Fusion Data Intelligence (FDI).

•Expertise in data visualization principles, reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau), and enterprise-scale reporting in Oracle Fusion Cloud.

•Experience with SCM and FIN tables in Oracle Fusion Cloud, with a deep understanding of Supply Chain Manufacturing and Financial reporting needs.

•Strong background in SQL Server, Snowflake, and Oracle cloud-based data integration.

•Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users and translate business needs into actionable reporting solutions.

•Knowledge of ETL processes and experience working with on-prem and cloud data sources.

Physical Requirements

•Must be able to sit for extended periods and use a computer terminal to analyze data.

•Must be able to lift 10 lbs., occasionally.

•Close visual acuity for managing data and reports.

•Must reside in the United States and be willing to travel up to 10%.

Salary Description

$92,000 to $110,000
