As a Desktop Support Technician, you will provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network issues, ensuring smooth and efficient IT operations. Your responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining desktop and laptop computers, peripherals, and mobile devices, as well as managing user accounts and permissions through Active Directory. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity, assist with software installations, updates, and patches, and perform regular maintenance and updates on computer systems. Additionally, you will document and track support requests and resolutions using a ticketing system, collaborate with other IT team members, provide training and guidance to end-users on best practices and IT policies, and participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.
