With the support of our parent company, AutoZone, we are an employer of choice for those who are passionate about working for a leader in the automotive software industry.Position Summary:The person in this role will be a passionate Agilist and will be accountable for identifying and resolving scrum team impediments to accomplishing product deliverables in a fast-paced organization.Position Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned:Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospective, sprint demos and software releasesAssist the product management team with keeping the backlog groomedWork closely with QA and the product owner to ensure that all user stories are verified before the end of the sprint, and ensure that the teams actions are always aligned with the acceptance criteria and project goals (vision)Ensure that the user stories in the backlog are prioritized and estimated, which includes scheduling and facilitating the sprint/release planning sessions.Facilitate the removal of any obstacles that the team itself cant resolve, working with stakeholders inside and outside TechnologyMaintain relevant metrics that help the team see how they are doingTrack the teams velocity, understand the deltas between sprints, and react accordinglyInteract with diverse technical and non-technical groups, spanning all organizational levelsPosition Requirements:BA degree or combination of relevant education and experienceMUST have 2+ years of Scrum Master experience. Experience playing the Scrum Master role for at least two years for a software development team that was diligently applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance. Must be current certification. PMI-ACP or CSP is a plusThorough understanding of Agile software development methodologies, values, and proceduresExcellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality typesAbility to understand technical issues/SDLC at a high levelExperience working with globally distributed teamsProven ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnelMust have exceptional communication, organization, and time management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detailExperience working with JIRA (or a similar tool) a mustMust be proficient with MS-OfficeSalary: $94,000 - $165,000Compensation Range (USD): MIN 94000.0 - MID 129000.0 - MAX 165000.0AutoZone, and its subsidiary, ALLDATA are equal opportunity employers.
