Scrum Master

The ideal hire will be someone who can work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment and has excellent communication skills.WHAT YOULL DO:As a Scrum Master, you will be leading, inspiring, motivating multi-functional teams and facilitating scrum activities. You will be critical for driving the agile and lean frameworks that result in quality product delivery and continuous improvement.QUALIFICATIONS:5+ years experience with the Agile framework in a Scrum Master role.Bachelor's degree in a Related FieldActive Scrum Master Certifications CSM, PSM, SAFe 6.0 Scrum MasterPassion and drive to help the team improve and deliver great productsTechnical acumen to understand the product and project deliverables.Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to clearly articulate and communicate the technical artifacts.Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps.Experience with PEGA preferred.RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitate Scrum Process with cross-functional scrum teams for medium/complex Projects.Guide scrum team(s) to follow generally accepted Agile/Scrum practices and daily activities to actively promote prioritization, team readiness, and commitment for each Sprint.Address any systemic impediments to team agility and guide the team(s) on methods to escalate when needed to prevent challenges from becoming roadblocks.Coach scrum team(s) to deliver capabilities using agile practices while following the Software Development Lifecycle, business process mapping, and various release processes to ensure all risk, security, and development requirements are met.Communicate with different stakeholders, both business and technical, to ensure business-value-driven delivery and the continuous improvement of the team.Partner with Engineering/Product managers to discuss and resolve their concerns on governance policies and adherence to corporate standards.Partner with Product Owner(s) to ensure continuous refinement of backlog, which may include User stories from multiple projects.Conduct all Scrum ceremonies Stand-up meetings, Sprint Demo Sessions, Sprint Retrospective Sessions, Sprint Backlog Grooming Sessions and Sprint Planning sessions.Reporting timely progress of Sprint via burn-down/burn-up charts and other reporting methods to Product Owners and stakeholders involved.
