Looking for Multi-specialty OR experience, especially in ORTHO & ROBOTICSThe Operating Room Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment and leadership in the anticipation and planning for the care of the patient in the operating room.As a member of the surgical team the RN works with the Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, ORTs and other personnel to provide patient care in the Operating Room according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN and regulatory standards, physician orders, policies and procedures of the Hospital and the Surgical Department.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: ensuring supplies, timeliness of cases, communication with families, updating of physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting physicians during surgical cases, and supervision of personnel delivering patient care.Job Requirements
Level 1 Trauma experiencePrevious traveler experienceMinimum 2 years OR experienceBLS requiredWill care for Covid patientsCould float as neededEpic experience preferred but not requiredSchedule Information
SHIFT- 3x 12 hr shifts- (0700-1930)No block scheduling (includes floating block)4-6 call shifts within a 6-week schedule30 minute call back response4-6 weekend shifts within a 6-week scheduleWeekend shifts could be day, evening, or nightHolidays per department needAdditional Details
