Systems Engineering Group (SEG) a subsidiary of Axient Corporation is looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and confident individual who is looking to grow and learn.What you will do...:Primary responsibilities will include:Apply Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) best practices to classified information systems, networking equipment, and applicable software/applicationsUse ACAS to scan and remediate vulnerabilities in a classified network environmentAssist ISSM with maintaining classified networks, to include configuration change requests, system hardening, and troubleshooting high level issuesAssist ISSM and Systems Administrator with configuring or troubleshooting Server group policy settings and Active Directory managementAssist Classified Internal Network Architect lead work station compliance and architecture changes to include periodic patching and upgradesAssist with overall classified network compliance for government/third party inspections and overall system security postureContribute to the overall safety of our classified networks, workstation and data in regard to cyber security and complianceContribute to the overall Information Systems team, and the Navy business unit in adjacent work areas when needed
Skills you will need...:Requirements:EDUCATION: High School or High School Equivalent (BS/BA or Masters preferred)Telework is not available due to classified environment (work schedule can be flexible)Travel is not requiredAbility to maintain a DoD Secret clearanceAbility to work well with a team and complete tasks individuallyExcellent written and communication skillsFamiliar use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookExperience with Computer and Network securityRelevant Certifications in Computer security and network securityCompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent per DoD 8570 IAT Level II requirements3-15 years related experienceDesired Qualifications/Skills:ACTIVE DoD Secret Clearance or higher5+ years of Information System Security experienceFirewall/IDPS experience (Palo Alto / Cisco)Windows, Linux, and/or Cisco CertificationsFamiliarity with RADIUS Server and 802.1X implementationsCCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CASP, CCNA highly desiredBachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or technical area5+ years of experience in information system security administrationFamiliarity with DCSA policies and procedures as they relate to contractor information systems processing classified informationFamiliarity with the RMF process and the assessment/validation of security controlsFamiliarity with completing a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).EDUCATION: BS/BA or Master of Science degreeApplicants for positions which require a US government security clearance must meet eligibility requirements to include US citizenship.
