What You Will Do...
Primary responsibilities will include: Lead team of information technology professionals for cyber security compliance for SIPRNet enclave. Apply Secure Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) best practices to classified information systems, networking equipment, and applicable software/applications Use ACAS to scan and remediate vulnerabilities in a classified network environment Assist IT staff with maintaining classified networks, to include configuration change requests, system hardening, and troubleshooting high level issues Assist Systems Administrator with configuring or troubleshooting Server group policy settings and Active Directory management Assist Classified Internal Network Architect, lead workstation compliance and architecture changes to include periodic patching and upgrades Responsible for overall classified network compliance for government/third party inspections and overall system security posture Contribute to the overall safety of our classified networks, workstations and data in regard to cyber security and compliance Compliance with Risk Management Framework for DoD Networks Contribute to the overall Information Systems team, and the Navy business unit in adjacent work areas when needed Skills You Will Need...
Requirements:
ACTIVE DoD Top Secret Clearance 10+ years of Information System Security Management experience Experience with SIPRNet (Full Lifecycle - Accreditation & Operations) EDUCATION: BS degree (Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems or Computer Science) SECRET Clearance with T5 adjudication or Top-Secret Clearance Telework is not available due to classified environment (work schedule can be flexible) Travel is not required Ability to work well with a team and complete tasks individually Excellent written and communication skills Familiar use of Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Relevant Certifications in Computer security and network security CISSP certification or equivalent per DoD 8570 IAT Level III requirements (CISM or CISSO or FITSP-M or GCIA or GCSA or GCIH or GSLC of GICSP or CISSP-ISSMP of CISSP) Desired Qualifications/Skills:
Router/Firewall/IDPS experience (Palo Alto / Cisco) Windows, Linux, and/or Cisco Certifications Familiarity with RADIUS Server and 802.1X implementations CCNP, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CASP, CCNA highly desired Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or technical area 7+ years of experience in information system security administration Familiarity with DISA & DCSA policies and procedures as they relate to contractor information systems processing classified information Familiarity with the RMF process and the assessment/validation of security controls Familiarity with completing a Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M).
