Job Description: Cyber Security Specialist at Leidos

Leidos is seeking an energetic, motivated, self-starter for a technically sophisticated and challenging information security position supporting naval training and simulation systems, including CIAT - Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) and Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW) Trainer.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement cybersecurity plans and goals, supporting and reinforcing the organization’s cybersecurity mission, values, and culture.
- Manage Information Systems (ISs), maintain System Security Policies (SSP), and update the Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M) in coordination with the Security Control Assessor (SCA). Provide guidance on security measures and perform regular audits.
- Analyze vulnerabilities from scanning and monitoring tools.
- Coordinate with DCSA representatives and ISSOs to ensure compliance and system integrity; assist with security assessments.
- Coordinate Change and Control Boards, document meetings, and provide cybersecurity feedback on changes.
- Assist with Authorization and Assessment processes across multiple sites and authorities.
- Conduct security briefings on rules, responsibilities, and acceptable use.
Minimum Qualifications
- BA/BS degree or equivalent certifications (e.g., CISSP, RHCSA) meeting 8570.1M / 8140 standards.
- 10+ years of relevant experience, including ISSM or ISSO roles.
- Linux operating system experience, including command line proficiency, file system navigation, and vulnerability remediation.
- Familiarity with EMASS.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision and a positive attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Service Desk.

Pay Range: $104,650.00 - $189,175.00. Compensation depends on responsibilities, education, experience, skills, and other factors.
