Job Summary

Join our Information Technology Team as an IT Project Manager, responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities for multiple projects utilizing Agile/Scrum methodologies. This role involves managing simultaneous projects with distributed teams, ensuring alignment with business needs, and fostering a collaborative environment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management: Oversee all aspects of multiple simultaneous projects, maintaining project vision and standards.Project Planning: Develop project roadmaps, release plans, resource allocation, funding requests, communication plans, and risk management strategies.Scope and Budget Management: Manage project scope, budget, burn charts, and presentations to IT and business stakeholders.Agile Implementation: Implement Agile methodology using tools such as Rally and Planview, facilitating all Agile ceremonies (e.g., Discovery Sessions, Iteration Planning, Daily Stand-ups).Status Tracking: Proactively track, update, and communicate project status regarding progress, budget, resources, and risks.Stakeholder Engagement: Interface with project stakeholders at all levels to ensure alignment of project priorities with business expectations.Documentation: Ensure appropriate project documentation and deliverables are clearly defined and delivered.Mentoring: Mentor and coach Agile teams to adopt and successfully implement Agile practices.Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between business units and third-party vendors.Business Analysis: Utilize business analysis techniques for gathering and documenting complex requirements and facilitating implementation.Required QualificationsEducation: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in information systems and business, with at least 3 years managing and delivering mission-critical IT projects using structured methodologies.Preferred Qualifications

Agile Experience: 3 years of experience with Agile methods and mindset in software development.Broader Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in information systems and business.Project Management: 5 years managing mission-critical IT development projects using Agile/Scrum methodologies.Industry Experience: Experience in the airline industry is a plus.Certifications

Certifications: Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.Skills

Leadership: Proven ability to lead, coach, and mentor teams, focusing on continuous improvement.Tools Proficiency: Experience with Agile lifecycle management tools (e.g., TFS, Rally, Planview).DevOps Knowledge: Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.Microsoft Office Proficiency: Skilled in Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, estimating, and problem-solving abilities.Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members and stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
