Material Handler

**Job Title: Material Handler Forklift****Job Description**Candidates will be responsible for both material handler responsibilities (position below the Operator B) and operator duties as they progress. Candidates will pelletize materials, load/unload trucks, use a forklift when needed, and downpack chemicals. Duties include chemical handling and hooking up barrels or end-use containers to piping systems for chemical downpacking for shipment. Candidates will regularly operate forklifts to transport materials; however, this is not a forklift role but a chemical operator in training position. Candidates must have MT1 Certification (1 year in Manufacturing) and forklift experience on sit-down lifts.**Hard Skills**+ Forklift operation (2-3 years)+ Material handling (2-3 years)+ Chemical experience (ideally 1 year)+ Manufacturing experience+ Process experience**Job Type**This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).**Work Site**This is a fully on-site position in South Chesterfield, Virginia.**Work Environment**Clean, chemical processing environment. Work in plant and control room eventually. Piping systems make it warmer in the winter, and it does get warm in summer.
