TIAGA Pathology is an independent, Physician-Owned pathology laboratory based in beautiful northern Colorado. We are expanding both in specimen number and test type, and are looking for a highly motivated and experienced histotechnologist to add to our team.

Role Description

This is a part-time (25-30 hours) on-site role for a Histotechnologist at TIAGA Pathology in Loveland, CO. The Histotechnologist will be responsible for preparing and examining tissue samples for microscopic examination by a pathologist. Duties include embedding, cutting, staining, and mounting specimens. Grossing of specimens and accessioning are also responsibilities. $28-40/hour - compensation will be commensurate with experience and certifications. Benefits (for all employees, part-time and full-time) include: a health insurance stipend and 401(k)/401(k) match, paid holidays and PTO accrues after one year of employment based on work hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Histology, Biology, or related field
• Certification as a Histotechnician (HT) or Histotechnologist (HTL), or at least 3 years of experience
• Experience with tissue processing, embedding, microtomy, and staining techniques
• Knowledge of laboratory safety protocols and quality control procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Experience with DIF studies is a plus
