Shockwave Medical, Inc. is a pioneer in the development and commercialization of Intravascular Lithotripsy (IVL) to treat complex calcified cardiovascular disease. Shockwave Medical aims to establish a new standard of care for medical device treatment of atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease through its differentiated and proprietary local delivery of sonic pressure waves for the treatment of calcified plaque.
Position Overview
The Principal Business Systems Analyst - G&A role will be responsible for managing/administering G&A applications and partner with IT compliance Manager to meet compliance standards for the business applications. This role will be responsible for administering user access and role provisioning for enterprise applications partnering with the cross-functional IT leaders, program managers and business stakeholders. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in governance processes and controls, worked in major ERP systems like Oracle cloud with an ability to introduce industry standard practices for ensuring compliance across the IT Enterprise Applications. In addition to user administration, this role will be working on additional requirements that are received in G&A space to support these systems.
Essential Job Functions Partner with IT Compliance teams to deploy tools and systems to improve the efficiency of compliance standards for system controls. Work on administering user access across G&A applications, provision roles and privileges and optimize the usage of applications by constantly monitoring the user access. Support HR and Legal business partners to provide IT support for various needs including integration with other platforms. Provide extended support to Application security team to enable best processes in user administration and system monitoring activities. Work on documenting functional design for various integration needs across HR and legal applications. Assess existing change management process and suggest improvements to automate the change management workflow. Work with cross-functional IT teams to execute Integration projects to support HR and legal business functions. Work on the archival strategies for legacy applications so these applications can be retired while executing the plan to manage the legacy data for various future reporting needs by the business. Requirements
Bachelor's degree (Computer Science, Computer / Software Engineering or equivalent preferred). 12+ years of experience working in an IT environment. 7+ years of experience working with Oracle ERP (On-prem/Cloud), HR applications like ADP, Workday, Legal systems like Docusign , Ironclad and SOD systems like Fastpath. Functional design experience in integrating ERP applications with HR systems and other peripheral systems. Knowledge of database tables to understand the design architecture of underlying data. Experience in executing IT Compliance controls with external and Internal audit partners. Experience in user management and administration tasks, risk assessment and governance procedures to manage these applications. Thorough understanding of Oracle Cloud Roles, Data Security Privileges to be able to create custom roles and troubleshoot access issues. Continuous Improvement mindset with superior analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. Experience working in Life Science companies is a plus. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to communicate effectively at all levels. Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. Understanding of HR business processes is desirable.
Market Range:
San Francisco Bay Area (SFBA) Market Range: $136,000 - $170,000 All Other US Locations (Outside of SFBA): $116,000 - $145,000
