long-term DoD program
contract job opportunity supporting the Department of the Navy located in
Quantico, VA . The Network Specialist will assist with end-user desktop support across numerous Marine Corps installations worldwide. This position requires an
ACTIVE SECRET CLEARANCE
and an
ACTIVE SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION .
Responsibilities for the Network Specialist:
Monitor the infrastructure and network by responding effectively to technical issuesHelp resolve connectivity, OS, Microsoft/Office, and Video Teleconference issuesWork directly with Marines, Government Civilians, and contractors to troubleshoot and resolve technical issuesMeet service goals by opening and closing tickets, executing scripts, and answering callsQualifications for the Network Specialist:
2-8+ Years of Network Admin experienceExperience with troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and support for IT devicesActive IAT II Certification: CompTIA Security+, CCNA Security, CySA+, or equivalent/higher (CCNA highly desired)Must have an Active SECRET ClearanceCompensation for the Network Specialist:
Salary Range:
$55,000-120,000/year
depending on experienceFull Standard Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, etc.
