Help Desk Specialist
to provide Tier II IT support on a 5-year DoD program in
Arlington, VA.
Onsite Work in Arlington, VA) : Shift : Monday-Friday:
7:00AM-4:00PM EST
MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET OR TS CLEARANCE
MUST HAVE A COMPTIA SECURITY+ CERTIFICATION
Responsibilities:•Provide Tier 2 IT support for end users and VIPs•Troubleshoot various hardware and software issues using Cisco, Palo Alto, and Microsoft tools•Troubleshoot, test, analyze, and maintain various network systems such as LAN, WAN, and Internet systems•Perform Active Directory user account administration and password resets•Manage and resolve incident support tickets in BMC Remedy and ServiceNow•Answer questions for users via phone, email, live chat, and instant message
Requirements:•Must have an
Active DoD Secret or TS Clearance•Must have a
CompTIA Security+ Certification
or equivalent/higher level certification•Must have experience working in a DoD/Military environment•2-3+ years of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Network Administration, and/or Mobile Device Management•Experience providing technical support for software applications, mobile devices, hardware, and network systems•Experience using some or most of the following systems:BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Active Directory, SharePoint, Windows 10, Cisco Routers/Switches, Palo Alto, Intune, Purebred, Adobe, etc.
Compensation:•
Salary Range:
$65,000 - $70,000depending on experience/degree &non-negotiable above 70K
