- Hybrid (2-3 Daya a week in Office)Duration: 03 Months Contract To HireOnly on W2OT: Yes -- Additional 10hrs possible when absolutely necessary but foreseenJob description:Reason for open position: Project Capital Project - Additional capacity to prepare moving 4000 users over to an upgraded platform; Ensuring that all functions are functions work appropriately and all the user in the migration have the appropriate support; Scaling supportCurrent initiatives/project(s) that this resource will be impacting:Moving 4000 users over to an upgraded platform; Ensuring that all functions are functions work appropriately and all the user in the migration have the appropriate support.Industry backgroundFinancial Services (preferred)Dynamic of the team and where this candidate will fit into the overall environment:7 members**Working towards a stronger Pittsburgh and Strongsville presence for onsite collabMeeting:• Daily• Teams Chat -- outside of meetingsPosition Profile:Key responsibilities :Testing a number of new capabilities for the Hadoop platformWorking with customers to resolve any issues that they encounter as the get up and runningCreation of user documentation/training materialsCode optimization - as the connections and conditions change, update;Planning and executing user program migration -- (Go through user programs making sure coordinating production, make sure its up and running)Heavy technical role, with user engagementMust have technical skills/experience (ask for alternative/tool/version) of the position in priority order:Apache ImpalaApache SparkBash, Python and C/C++.Creating End User Training ManualsEnd User TrainingHadoop ClouderaHadoop Distributed File System (HDFS)PySparkNice to have:Python - preferredSoft skills:Communication skills (verbal and written)Planning and prioritizationPresentation skills (leadership)Degrees or certificationsBachelors - preferred;Interview process:2 RNDS - Small Panels (No more than 3 ppl [HM, Tech Team member, Ops Team member]; 30 mins each
