Job Title: Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - Level 3 NICU ICU experience in acute care facilities Job Description: - Manage ventilators using Servo and Hamilton C-1 equipment. - Provide critical care and NICU Level 3 experience in an acute care setting. - Perform procedures including vent management, attendance at deliveries, and ER respiratory therapy procedures. - Participate in Code Blue and Rapid Response Teams. - Conduct EKGs as needed. - Work collaboratively within a team while also being able to operate independently. - Maintain a positive attitude and prioritize patient care. - Float and work throughout various areas due to the small facility size. - Follow the dress code wearing black scrubs with the Respiratory Care logo. - Ensure availability to work every other weekend and two holidays (either Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day). - Flexible scheduling and willingness to work extra hours if needed by the facility. - Review and adhere to unit guidelines and policies during orientation.
