Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled IT Infrastructure Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of all systems, and providing technical support to end-users. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

System Maintenance:

Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, networks, and other IT infrastructure components.Technical Support:

Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and ensuring timely resolution when User Support team cannot resolve.Network Management:

Monitor and manage network performance, including routers, switches, and firewalls, to ensure optimal operation. Meraki Experience preferred.Security:

Implement and maintain security measures to protect the IT infrastructure from threats and vulnerabilities.Backup and Recovery:

Ensure regular backups and ensure data recovery processes are in place and tested.Documentation:

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures.Compliance:

Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to IT infrastructure and data security.Continuous Improvement:

Identify opportunities for improving IT infrastructure performance and efficiency

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an Equivalent experience.Experience:

3-5 years of experience in IT infrastructure support or a similar role.Technical Skills:

Proficiency in network and server management, virtualization, and cybersecurity.Knowledge:

Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and/or work experience. Generally, less than eight years of experience in discipline.Preferred knowledge

Meraki EquipmentMicrosoft Windows Operating SystemsAzureMS Active Directory

Independenc e: Works independently, receiving guidance on most complex situations. May take lead role in small projects/processes. Work is reviewed at the completion of assignments for adequacy in meeting objectivesCertifications:

Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate are a plus.Problem-Solving:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Solves relatively complex problems, takes a new perspective on existing solutions. May act as a resource for lower-level employees in resolving non-routine issues.Communication:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Contacts frequently are with individuals representing other departments involving obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department. Has direct contact with executive(s) within area of operation. May act as a representative for industry organizations or committees.Teamwork:

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues.Adaptability:

Ability to adapt to changing technologies and learn new skills as required.
