Description
We seek a passionate and results-oriented Technical Product Specialist
to drive the adoption of IEEE's advanced data and analytics products within specific engineering domain like transportation, telecommunications and energy. This role requires to quickly learn specialized engineering applications and interface technically with prospects and customers which are typically SMEs/PHDs.
As a product expert, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, sales teams, and clients to enhance product capabilities, drive sales, and ensure customer success. Your technical acumen, combined with strong interpersonal skills, will be essential for building relationships with high-level technical experts in academia, industry and government.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Development:
Partner with the data science team to conceptualize, develop, and refine cutting-edge data analytics products tailored to specific engineering domains.Sales Enablement:
Collaborate with the sales team to articulate product value, address customer needs, and drive sales to advanced technical SMEs/PHDsCustomer Success:
Provide comprehensive technical support, training, and onboarding to ensure customer satisfaction and product adoption.Market Intelligence:
Conduct market research, analyze competitive landscapes, and identify opportunities for product enhancement and expansion.Product Documentation:
Develop clear and concise product documentation, including user guides, process flows, and use cases.Impact:
By driving the adoption of IEEE's advanced data and analytics products, you will contribute directly to revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Your expertise will be instrumental in building strong customer relationships and fostering innovation within the engineering community.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Master's degree in engineering or a related fieldMinimum 2 years of experience in a technical product specialist or similar roleProven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and compelling business value propositionsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficiency in data science tools (Tableau, SQL, Python) preferredExperience working with high-level technical experts in academia and industryOther Requirements:
