Job Title: Salesforce - Net Zero Cloud Technical Architect

Slalom is seeking a Technical Architect of Salesforce Net Zero Cloud to join our global capabilities team. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven, leader to help lead a team of individuals who consult with co-workers and clients to measure and report on environmental, social and governance impact through solutions focused on accounting for climate change footprints (e.g., carbon accounting with additional impact areas like waste, water, and overall compliance planned for the future). You will design innovative ways to accelerate the growth of our Salesforce practice. Working with our global Environmental, Social and Governance ("ESG") practice, local market ESG ambassadors, and Salesforce consultants, you will have an amazing opportunity to elevate the way Slalom goes to market and delivers world-class solutions that leverage a wide variety of enterprise platforms and technologies combined with ESG subject matter expertise.

You are fit for this role if you are passionate about accelerating the transition to a low-carbon economy in balance with environmental constraints; you are the Salesforce subject matter expert, focused on designing and ensuring delivery of complex Salesforce solutions for and with our clients; you are a self-driven individual with a "get it done" attitude and a passion to solve complex business and technology problems.

Responsibilities:•Collaborate with client stakeholders to define requirements, deliverables, and set and manage expectations•Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform within clients' architectural landscape•Lead technical design sessions; architect and document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives; identify gaps between client's current and desired end-states•Provide oversight and governance of Salesforce projects•Follow and help define coding standards. Lead code reviews during projects to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed•Manage the technical delivery of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of a Salesforce implementation•Manage client expectations

Qualifications:•CRM experience, the majority specifically with Salesforce•Expert level understanding of GHG Protocol and how to advise clients collecting data for carbon accounting•Expert level understanding of the Salesforce product suite, specifically Net Zero Cloud, but ideally including Sales, Service, and/or Experience Clouds•Understanding of systems architecture and ability to design scalable performance-driven solutions•Understanding of key design patterns and large data volume limitations and best practices•Understanding of data sharing and visibility considerations and how these play into platform architecture•Familiarity with platform authentication patterns (SAML, SSO, OAuth)•Knowledge of data integration tools and experience integrating Salesforce with different business systems (ETL, AppExchange managed packages, CRMA, etc.)•Understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies (DevOps)•Experience with platform security capabilities•Background in design/development of large web-based or client server systems, or complete software product lifecycle exposure•Knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design and database design•Active Salesforce certifications (e.g. Net Zero Cloud Accredited Professional)

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Principal Technical Architect role is $122,000- $225,000. For the Senior Delivery Principal Technical Architect role, the base salary pay range is $140,000- $258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
