Job Title: Salesforce Enterprise Architect
Slalom is seeking a Salesforce Enterprise Architect capable of bringing to life the art of the possible for our clients. A passion for building strategies, solutions, and creative designs to help our clients solve their most complex and interesting business problems is a must. As a Salesforce Enterprise Architect, you will embrace emerging technologies, dive into interesting challenges, and guide innovative minds.
In addition to helping expand and develop our enterprise architecture capabilities, you will be responsible for creating and owning technical visions and roadmaps for our client's most strategic programs and projects. This includes serving as a trusted advisor, driving the following:
Business ArchitectureApplication Design & IntegrationData ArchitectureTechnology ArchitectureSecurity ArchitectureResponsibilities:
Advise clients on the overall enterprise architecture landscape on various solution architecture areas including technology, information, data, security, and integration.Collaborate with clients to define outcomes, craft enterprise-level technical designs/solutions, manage expectations, and drive implementations.Translate business requirements into well architected solutions that best leverage the Salesforce platform and its growing ecosystem, including cross-cloud integration.Produce target state solution architectures, perform architectural assessments, drive gap analysis, and help formulate overall solution strategies and roadmaps.Lead technical design sessions, document technical solutions aligned with client business objectives, and identify gaps between client's current and desired end-states.Assist with estimating technical work efforts required for each phase of a project.Plan and manage the implementation of custom development, integrations, and data migration elements of large, complex Salesforce implementations.Contribute to the growth of Slalom's Salesforce Enterprise Architecture capability by identifying and leading internal strategic initiatives, mentoring and developing other architects, and serving as an active contributor to knowledge base.Maintain a target billable utilization aligned to the role.Qualifications:
6+ years of CRM experience, the majority within the Salesforce ecosystem.Experience leading development teams through everyday project tasks and collaborating across multiple functional/technical teams to deliver a project.Experience in similar consulting roles and demonstrated track record of providing advisory services to organizations.Deep understanding of the Salesforce product suite, including sales, service, community, marketing, analytics, integration, and platform capabilities.Familiarity with sophisticated programming concepts including core design patterns, limits and bulk patterns, integration patterns, asynchronous operations, and effective testing methodologies.Ability to collaborate with client partners to define requirements, outcomes, and set expectations on tasks that you and your team will be responsible for executing.Experience defining systems architecture landscapes, identifying gaps in roadmaps to reach desired end-states, and delivering comprehensive solutions that enable achievement of the client's desired outcomes.Strong understanding of environment management, release management, and continuous integration/delivery methodologies.Ability to lead a team of solution designers and programmers; ability to lead design reviews to ensure quality and appropriate design patterns are followed.Strong verbal and written communication skills; able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience.Able to travel up to 50% (post-COVID).

Compensation and Benefits

Slalom is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For this position, the base salary pay range for the Principal role is $122,000- $225,000. For the Senior Delivery Principal role, the base salary pay range is $140,000 -$258,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual's skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors. The salary pay range is subject to change and may be modified at any time.
