Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Valid state license in Respiratory Therapy Certifications: BLS & ACLS Must-Have: - Patient assessment skills- Ability to perform treatment procedures as ordered by a physician Job Description: - Join a dynamic team in a respiratory therapy unit with a 419-bed capacity and 48 staff members.- Work primarily night shifts, supported by a team including 1 Lead RT and 6-8 staff RTs, along with EKG and PFT technicians.- Engage in a patient care environment with a patient ratio of 1:10-15 during first rounds.- Utilize equipment such as V60 Bipap, Vapotherms, Avea & Hamilton ventilators, and EPOC ABG analyzers.- EMR system used is MEDITECH.- Perform typical procedures including but not limited to: - Arterial punctures - Oxygen therapy - Aerosol therapy - Non-invasive ventilation- Critical care experience, as well as NRP, Advanced, & PALS certification, are preferred and considered favorably.- Maintain professional attire in pewter-colored scrubs.- Work every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
