Ruan is now hiring a Logistics Support Intern for Summer 2025.

This is a full-time position that will work a mix of on-site at our downtown Des Moines campus and remote.

The Logistics Support Intern will have the opportunity to work with Ruan's non-asset operations and assist with carrier onboarding, cargo claim administration and transportation procurement.

Daily responsibilities may include:

Ensuring carriers meet established compliance requirements and are approved in Ruan's TMS.Learn industry rules and regulations by filing cargo and property claims with transportation providers.Assist with coordinating and analyzing truckload RFPs utilizing Blue Yonder procurement system.

The purpose of the internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a career in supply chain, transportation, accounting, human resources, IT, or applicable division.Interns may be exposed to a variety of projects and activities that occur within the transportation business.Interns will have the opportunity to apply knowledge and skills learned in college and demonstrate abilities in the workplace.The purpose of the internship position is to develop college students that are pursuing a career in supply chain, transportation, accounting, human resources, IT, or applicable division.
