Experience Required:

Roles & Responsibilities:
•Server Administration - Hardware, OS, SAN allocations, Network, and Scripting•Software Installations - OS Package/patch installations, client software installation•Monitoring - Tivoli alerts, system and network-level performance monitoring, performance tuning, backups, and capacity planning•Project representation - Represent the team on assigned projects, planning and implementation•Processes - Global standards, compliance, security, change management, asset management•Server Migrations - Database, Application, Web server migrations between Datacenters•Server and Process Automation•Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures.•Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels.•Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages•Schedules installations and upgrades and maintains them in accordance with established IT policies and procedures•Monitors and tunes the system to achieve optimum performance levels•Maintains data files and control procedures for complex systems of networked computers or a single group of microcomputers linked toa host workstation•Ensures long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are included in the overall information systems planning ofthe organization•Responsible for the installation, maintenance, configuration, and integrity of computer software•Implements operating system enhancements that will improve the reliability and performance of the system•Responsible for system security and data integrity that involves general troubleshooting and communication with end users•Monitors network traffic and makes necessary recommendations for additional resources or hardware•May maintain project schedules
