What You Will Do

Design, Develop, program, validate and maintain clinical trial databases according to company standards based on identified business needs or deficiencies.Act as primary contact to the data management team for assigned studies, supplying all necessary technical support, and ensuring quality of the programming.Coordinate with the database manager and network administrator to integrate database systems into existing workflows, technologies, systems and operational procedures.Additional responsibilities include writing specifications and designing, building, testing, implementing, and supporting applications using programming/scripting languages and development tools.Develop solutions - Meet with the project team and other stakeholders to develop business requirements and workflows. Collaborate with regulatory and/or compliance specialist to ensure that applications meets or exceeds all national, state, local and institutional requirements.Solution support and customer service - Perform quality control measures periodically to monitor system to detect errors, data problems and performance issues; determine where optimizations can be made to the existing workflow and propose changes to team.Additional Responsibilities

Qualifications:Education

Bachelor's Degree in a math, information science field, or related field (Required) andMaster's Degree (Preferred)Work Experience

5+ years Experience with database and/or protocol management (Required) and3+ years Experience with database and/or protocol management. (Required)Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Proficient in the use of Microsoft SQL Server and other database technologies; (Required proficiency)Programming/scripting experience; (Required proficiency)Able to develop and implement quality control programs for database entry and management; (Required proficiency)Able to coordinator and administer research, educational and clinical programs; (Required proficiency)Maintain confidentiality as and appropriate (Required proficiency)Physical Demands
