GIS Specialist II

in Los Angeles County with the following duties:

Key Responsibilities:

Creates and maintains GIS data, develops GIS web applications and dashboards, including Indoors Information Model (IIM).May coordinate data related to GIS in support of Proposed Project definitions and analysis, and QA/QC of data for existing/proposed facilities and infrastructure.Assist in building CADD standards compliance review, support as-built/O&M data delivery at closeout.Develop and support airport's ArcGIS Indoors information model (IIM) for wayfinding and space planning.Develop indoor routing network and floor transitions and integrate vehicular, pedestrian, and indoor networks into a comprehensive wayfinding system.Develop and maintain web and mobile geospatial applications that enable end-users to leverage location intelligence.Configure ArcGIS Pro maps, authoring dashboards, and creating web and mobile applicationsConsolidate airport assets and space information into a floor-aware maps and applicationsCreate easily accessible and user-friendly web and mobile apps for location discovery and wayfindingParticipate in combining airport AutoCAD and BIM data into a single geospatial system of record using ArcGIS IndoorsDevelop new capabilities to support indoor mapping workflows that require 2D and 3D visualizationProvide solutions to complex problems through application design, product development, and user experiencesExecute workflows, including data migration and quality controlOther related dutiesMay assume other duties as required/neededMaybe required to work past regular work shift if needed.Maybe required to work various shifts as neededRequirements

Minimum Required Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online / Enterprise, including indoor mapping and spatial and network analysis. Experience with Python and SQL programming languagesMinimum of 2 years of professional experience working with Indoors Information ModelMinimum of 2 years of professional experience in ArcGIS Enterprise or ArcGIS Online application developmentWork experience with real-time data and Autodesk products is a plusEducation and Professional Licenses/Certifications:

Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university with a major in Geography, Urban Planning, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fieldGIS Professional (GISP)Hardware/Software Knowledge
