Responsibilities

Perform system integration of next generation Tesla industrial energy storage productsLead the test plan execution for firmware/software feature validation with continuous feedback for feature documentationDesign and integrate test setup and sequences to expand regression test coverage into our normal firmware/software release cycleIdentify, escalate, and resolve issues with hardware and firmware during system bring up, utility performance, and grid contingency testDebug and fix firmware and software issues on complex, high power/high voltage productsKey leader of FMEA as part of the product design, integration, and test processRequirements

Degree in Engineering related field, or equivalent experienceHands-on experience with electrical and software engineering components and an understanding of how they interact in a complex product2+ years of experience in firmware and software validation on Control HIL or actual control systemExceptional analytical problem solving skills, able to identify and surface issues within complex HW/SW systemsRemain engaged, proactive and positive in tough circumstances, owning assignments and taking full accountabilityPreferred: Fluent with the embedded microprocessor design process: compilers, debuggers, and GitPreferred: Experience with renewable energy products and/or electricity distribution systems (i.e. PV, Wind, BESS)Preferred: Experience working with high power (50kW+) and/or high voltage (1kVDC, 480VAC) productsPreferred: Experience with programs such as MATLAB, Simulink modelling program preferredCompensation and BenefitsBenefits

$120,000 - $252,000/annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits

Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered.
