Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year required; 2 years Neonatal ICU and Pediatric ICU critical care experience preferred License: Certifications: NPS, PALS, NRP Must-Have: - 2 years of Neonatal or PICU critical care experience - Advanced skills in managing ventilated patients - Proficiency with non-invasive ventilation such as biPAP and CPAP - Ability to independently admit and manage vented patients using Servo U ventilator - Experience setting up and managing heliox therapy through invasive and non-invasive methods Job Description: - Work in a neonatal/pediatric respiratory unit using equipment such as Servo U & Drager VN500, F&P Bubble CPAP, HFOV, HFJV, Vaportherm, and heliox therapy - Attend pre-term deliveries and manage neonatal care, including Bubble CPAP, nitric oxide, and high-frequency ventilation - Document care in the Epic system - Adhere to scheduling requirements for 12-hour night shifts - Meet patient experience requirements and promote a supportive work environment - Comply with dress code by wearing required Hunter Green uniform Additional Information: The facility offers a comprehensive range of services and has received recognition for its quality care, including awards as a top performer on key quality measures and recognition as an advanced primary stroke center.
