POSITION SUMMARY

Sony Corporation of America (SCA) is seeking a dynamic

Human Resources Executive Assistant

to support the Senior Vice President, Human Resources in our New York offices. The position will encompass a variety of administrative and human resources related responsibilities requiring a high level of trust & confidentiality, excellent organizational & communication skills, and all-related interpersonal skills.

This position will be on a Hybrid schedule with 2-3 days per week in the New York office.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Manage the HR Executive's calendar, including scheduling meetings and travel arrangementsOrganize and support meetings for HR Executive and team including reserving conference rooms, sending meeting invitations, arranging technical support, placing catering requests, and preparing security accessPrepare expense reports and process invoicesPrepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed. Send out company wide communications.Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalismAssist in the preparation and administration of HR policies and proceduresMaintain/archive files that may contain confidential informationResponsible for various reporting requestsRespond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies, programs, and other HR-related mattersPrepare and launch documents for e-signaturesCoordinate Facilities and IT requests for departmentDistribute department mail; arrange messenger and overnight package services; order/maintain department suppliesAssist in projects as neededPerform other related duties as assignedLiaise and build relationships with other groups and the administrative community within the organizationQUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION

Your qualifications and experience should include:

College degree preferredMinimum of 5 years executive level administrative experience, preferable within Human ResourcesOrganized and detail-oriented with the ability to plan ahead and anticipate needs of the teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to problem solveExcellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle sensitive information with integrity and confidentialityAttention to detail and a high level of accuracy in workCollaborative team player, working professionally with other departments and assistantsProficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, AdobePrior experience with HRIS preferred, Workday idealBenefits:

The target annualized base salary range for this position is $75,000 to $83,000. The individual will be paid hourly and eligible for overtime. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
