Mission:We are seeking a Senior AEM front-end engineer who has the right mix of technical with passion for managing the dynamics of a fast-paced environment.The candidate will be responsible to work with Business, DevOps, Backend and Architecture teams to successfully deliver complex cross-functional projects.Day to day responsibilities:
Collaborate with product management, marketing, and fellow technologists to design, develop and deliver frictionless multi-channel experiencesProvide technical guidance and be a technical mentor to Scrum team. Lead the pre-sprint technical design and grooming activitiesDrive user story analysis, elaboration and design. Thrives to ensure code quality is high with supporting unit test and automation.Contributes to high-level architecture and drives low-level design. Champion modular design, reuse, separation of concern, high cohesion and loose couplingEmploy industry best practices to deliver world-class solutions. Ensure developed solutions remain compliant with all applicable Prudential standardsEnable change, help accelerate innovation and ensure customer delightDrive software development activities to meet schedules and timelinesResearch problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions to the problemsEnsure that software standards and quality targets are metMust Have:
Experience developing mission critical web and server applications in agile environmentPossess excellent software architecture, design and problem-solving skillsExperience in end-to-end implementations of AEM 6.5 or later, AEM as a cloud service experience preferred3+ years relevant experience with client-side technologies including JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, HTL, CSS3, SASS, Jasmine, Karma, JSON, REST, TypeScript, ES6, NPM, WebPack2+ years' experience with creating new components, templates , dialogs, widgets and bundles, creating and managing site, DAM with in their AEM2+ years' experience with backend technologies including Java, J2EE, Tomcat, REST, GraphQL, OSGI (Apache Felix)2+ years' experience with Java Content Repository (API) and Sling web framework.Extremely proficient in using one of the IDEs like Eclipse, Webstorm, IntelliJ, MS Visual Studio or NetbeansWorking experience with Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target, Adobe Launch & Adobe Experience PlatformKnowledge of Responsive and Material designExperience with agile development methodologies and TDDExperience with AEM tools: Brackets Extension, FileVault ToolWorking knowledge of speed optimization such as YSlow or PageSpeedKnowledge of SEO best practicesKnowledge of DevOps tools such as Artifactory, SonarQube, Selenium, Jenkins is highly desirableExperience with monitoring and logging techniques and tools such as CloudWatch, Nagios, Splunk and Dynatrace etcAEM Developer Certification preferredJob Requirement
