Quality Assurance Lead - Utilities

Job DescriptionTitle: Quality Assurance ManagerLocation: Balitmore, MD areaSummary:The Quality Assurance Lead will primarily perform quality reviews for electric and gas commercial and industrial (C&I) designs. This position will be responsible for reviewing designs and applicable programs to ensure they meet standards as part of a tiered QA/QC review process and having meetings with designers as needed to rectify any issues.Responsibilities:Provide reviews on various C&I projects using standard redline methodsEnsure accuracy of plans to client specific standardsPrioritize projects based on scheduled deadlinesWorking knowledge of Asset Suite 8/Intellio and their processFamiliarity with PoleForeman or other pole structural calculating softwarePerform design work on an as needed basis for electric, gas, or fiber/telecom work utilizing MicroStation or AutoCADCollaborate with internal designers on work, helping to serve as a knowledge base for developing team membersEducation and/or Experience:Previous experience working as a QA reviewer on C&I electric/gas jobs is a major plusMinimum 3+ years of experience working as a designer or C&I type electrical workProficiency in MicroStation and Blubeam RevuAssociates or Bachelor's degree in CADD or Engineering related field strongly preferredQualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status, or genetic information.
