This is a temporary position.
The Director, Global Portfolio Marketing (FLEX), is a key leader of the Global Portfolio Marketing Team. This role functions as a brand steward for portfolio marketing efforts and works closely with Loyalty, Purpose Driven, Brand and Content Marketing to tell our enterprise story. The Director influences portfolio teams around the world to drive consistency of strategy and creative/comms execution across all continents. This person is responsible for marketing strategy, creative development, media and performance measurement. This role collaborates with external research, creative, media and entertainment partners and leads internal cross-functional teams to drive strategic imperatives in support of companywide KPIs.
Education and Experience Required10 years' experience in global marketing experience (preferably hospitality), demonstrating progressive career growth and a pattern of exceptional performance4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or related major

Leading Global Marketing Campaigns and InitiativesDirects the creative agency on comms strategy, creative development, production and media integrationLeads Integrated Marketing Campaign with cross-functional teams to execute full 360 integrated marketing plans across owned/earned/paid mediaAligns development with key global and US stakeholdersSupports partnership activationsPartners with insights team on custom research and performance measurement
Leading US Media Plan and ExecutionPartners with media team to review strategy and tactical recommendationsSupports creative agency and team members on media plan executionAdvises on custom/innovation opportunities
Managing Financial Forecasts and BudgetsManage contracts, budgets and reconciliation processesCompletes quarterly forecast templates
The hourly pay range for this position is $65.09 to $89.33. Marriott offers a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off (including sick leave where applicable), life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account (except for positions based out of or performed in Hawaii), flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, and other life and work wellness benefits.
