The US Carrier Sales team is seeking an experienced sales professional with a passion for technology and innovation to lead efforts in the rapidly growing product categories within a major US Carrier account. We collaborate with partners to seek opportunities, develop account plans, and implement programs to grow the business, resulting in phenomenal customer experiences and expanded adoption of the Apple ecosystem.As a Carrier iPhone Sales Lead, you will be selling Apple’s full lineup of iPhones from pitch to close, including: defining the individual account strategy; driving consumer offers and deals through negotiation and analytics; and navigating cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful launch of new offers and programs.DescriptionIn this role you will:Develop strategic plans and tactical activities with the US Carrier team that will result in growing iPhone sales in conjunction with the Worldwide team, Finance, Legal, and other cross-functional teams. You will then work closely with these cross-functional teams to influence and support a comprehensive strategy for the Carrier partnership.Design promotional strategies, offers, and incentive programs, managing supply availability, and ensure new products are launched successfully.Facilitate and oversee the drafting of legal agreements, term sheets and negotiate commercial terms.Achieve or exceed assigned sales quotas and other critical metrics while thriving in a dynamic, pressure-filled environment.Build and leverage relationships, facilitate interactions, and support negotiations across Apple products to drive promotional planning and further business development.Maintain excellent business relationships and work with cross-functional teams that deliver a productive alliance to achieve mutual strategic outcomes.Stay informed of market dynamics, account history, and emerging partner and market trends while understanding how to capitalize on these opportunities.Identify opportunities and support them through closure. You make certain that any client issues and/or concerns are raised and addressed. You share status, progress and facilitate sales activity across the carrier, customer and Apple sales teams.Prepare presentations and analyses to support sales initiatives (Keynote and Excel skills). Track progress and provide regular reports to management.Perform assigned administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, sales and inventory reporting, promotional tracking, and files/forms/information creation and management.Minimum QualificationsTypically 8+ years of performance-proven sales management and/or account management experienceThorough understanding of the wireless/telecommunications industryExcellent collaboration and relationship building skills, including the ability to influence cross-functionally, navigate organizational structures, and lead complex negotiationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experiencePreferred QualificationsExpertise in the following areas: business development, data analysis, problem-solving, negotiating terms, tactical execution, account development, forecasting, presentations, business solutions, multi-task management, and administrative planning and organizationStrong analytical skills to assess opportunities from many angles and perspectives-both quantitative and qualitative, to drive sales resultsSolid understanding of partner economics and the value drivers to better align strategies and intersecting opportunitiesExperience successfully navigating the channel to influence internal and external partnersStrong problem-solving skills with a demonstrated track record for delivering operational support and elevating team performance within a dynamic organizationComfort with ambiguity and the ability to bring structure and clarity where none existsDeep knowledge of the carrier business with the ability to maintain senior executive relationships, navigate all layers within carrier organizational structures, and understand their value strategies to consistently develop businessUnderstanding of merchandising strategies and assortment planningHighly collaborative and inclusive engagement style, seeking to deliver outstanding outcomes - regardless of the status quo or perceived boundariesExcellent verbal and written communication skills (including proficiency with Keynote)Proven presentation and partner management skills, and thrive in a rapid paced environment and a culture that relies on collaborationPay & BenefitsAt Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $139,400 and $209,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
