Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Postpartum/Mom Baby Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, BLS, NRP Must-Have: - AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring- Basic Life Support (BLS)- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Job Description: - Provide postpartum care and support to mothers and their newborns.- Assist with postoperative surgical care for cesarean sections and gynecological cases.- Care for stable antepartum patients and conduct non-stress tests.- Maintain a patient ratio of 1:7 during shifts.- Utilize standard equipment such as Pyxis machines, Welch Allyn blood pressure machines, and fetal monitors.- Document patient care and activities using Meditech and CPN electronic medical record systems.- Exhibit strong teamwork and customer service skills.- Float to Labor & Delivery and Newborn Nursery as needed.- Comply with the dress code: royal blue scrubs.- Follow unit guidelines and policies.- Work every other weekend as part of the rotating schedule.
