**Must-Have:**- Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)- Triage skills- Experience with procedures associated with obstetrics
**Job Description:**- Provide nursing care in obstetrics unit covering labor and delivery, post-partum, antepartum, and Level II nursery.- Perform procedures such as versions, induction of labor, cervical ripening, intrauterine fetal demise care, and bereavement.- Participate in Cesarean Sections in the operating room.- Utilize Meditech, GE Perinatal Centricity for electronic medical records.- Deliver medication management using Omnicell systems.- Communicate effectively using SBAR and bedside report.- Maintain patient ratios as per AWHONN standards.- Ensure care for a range of patients, including stable antepartum, couplet care, NICU level II, and GYN/medical overflow.- Float as needed to assist with general nursing duties across the unit.- Adhere to vaccination requirements and compliance policies.
**Preferred:**- AWHONN Advanced Certification- Experience with bCPAP- Previous charge experience- Familiarity with Meditech software
*Note: Scrubs (navy) will be provided, and a 50-mile radius residency restriction applies for non-local candidates.*
