We are looking for a Dental Hygienist in our *Dental Health Associates Fishersville* office located at 9 Pinnacle Dr, Suite A01, Fishersville, Virginia 22939 to join our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment. This person will handle a variety of clinical duties for dental office operations including cleaning teeth and examining oral areas, head, and neck for signs of oral disease. They also may educate patients on oral hygiene, or apply fluoride or sealants. All aspects of the job require an exceptional level of customer service and communication skills.
*Pay:* $48-$50/hour
*Schedule:* Monday-Thursday 7:30a-5p (open to full-time or part-time)
*Patients per day:* 6-8

Duties:
- Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral examinations for patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatric care.
- Utilize your anatomy knowledge and expertise in dental assisting to provide high-quality care.
- Implement aseptic techniques and maintain infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
- Assist with medical documentation, including medical coding and maintaining accurate patient records.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and provide guidance on dental terminology.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure seamless patient care delivery.
Requirements:
- Active Dental Hygiene license in the state of Virginia.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and infection control procedures.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Prior experience in a dental setting is preferred but not required.
