Successful candidates should have the following:One to Three years of public accounting experience.Demonstrated understanding of accrual basis accounting.Strong proficiency in Excel and other MS Office applications.Ability to conduct the month-end closing process and review financials.Preferably skilled in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite, and Bill.com/ExpensifyExceptional written and verbal communication skills.Capacity to work autonomously and in collaborative settings.Eagerness to take on responsibilities, advance, proactive, and team-oriented.Well-organized with strong prioritization skills.Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (majors in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related discipline).Responsibilities:
Prepare financial work papers, reports, and journal entries.Assist with monitoring, maintaining, and reconciling financial accounts and Accounts Payable.Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts as required.Prepare financial statements, including a Balance Sheet, Income Statement, General Ledger, Trial Balance, and other Ad Hoc reports.Coordinate financial statement preparation and supporting documents for annual tax preparation and quarterly extension payments.Communicate with all levels of management, clients, and third parties to investigate and resolve account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance.Contribute to developing new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures.Perform other accounting research, accounting duties, and supporting staff as required or assigned additional training staff.
$65,000 - $95,000 a year
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $65,000-$95,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the market demand, education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
