They maintain their emphasis on employee-centric culture and take a lot of pride in taking care of their people, developing them professionally, and allowing them to maintain a healthy work-life balance.Job DescriptionPerform CAD design and drafting of fixtures, gages, and custom cutting toolsAssist in the fabrication of fixtures and gages as neededMaintain documentation in accordance with company procedures, including drawings and tool room fixture programsDiagnose production issues related to fixture, gage, and tool designAnalyze and enhance tool room production processesCollaborate on designs for extrusion, fixtures, tools, and gagesParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving effortsProgram CNC machines for new products and optimize existing production processesWrite and optimize CNC programs for complex parts on three- and four-axis machining centersEnsure compliance with tooling and machining requirements during initial setupsAssist in the development of workholding fixtures and selection of cutting toolsMeasure parts and monitor tolerances throughout the production process, making adjustments as necessaryMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
