About The Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Principal Implementation Consultant - ERP with 8+ years of experience in implementing ONESOURCE ORACLE Integration and/or financial add-ons for ORACLE R12 or Fusion. The Principal Implementation Consultant - ERP will work closely with ONESOURCE Project Managers and Tax SME to implement ONESOURCE Determination integration software at client sites in Global Implementations.You will provide customers with domain expertise when implementing tax scenarios, and integrating ONESOURCE Indirect Tax to ORACLE applications including ERP, ecommerce and POS. As a Principal Technical Implementation Consultant ERP, you will work with a project team to gather and define business requirements and convert them into robust and flexible solutions. This position is unique as you will be exposed to customers from all different industries and their business requirements and operations.Your Responsibilities:Serve as a primary integration interface with client tax professionals.Lead business and user requirements sessions and formulate into design/solution documentation for Integration.Assist in the analysis and delivery of ORACLE integration implementations that reflect an in-depth understanding of the client's tax requirements and compliance process.Engagement with other Thomson Reuters teams as appropriate to deliver end-to-end Indirect Tax integration solutions.Ensure all Indirect tax related requirements are met.Explain ONESOURCE Integration for ORACLE related issues/problems and solutions to non-tax & technical staff.Work with clients to translate their tax policy into ONESOURCE integration solutions.Work with Product and Engineering teams in growth of the product and solutions.Install and configure ONESOURCE Indirect Tax Integration for ORACLE.Execute personal working within a controlled project management environment.Work with Pre-sales on prospects and bid development.Work with functional & technical colleagues to deliver the implementation.Up to 10% of travel is expected.Your Qualifications:Required Skills and Experience:8+ years of work experience with at least 3 of those years working with ORACLE ERP.Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science.Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.Technical experience implementing ORACLE and/or Add-on Solutions.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues caused when multiple add-ons are installed.Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving ORACLE system issues.Experience with process analysis, design, mapping, and re-engineering.Experience with process/software gap analysis and resolution.Experience creating and executing test cases and test scripts.Working knowledge of ORACLE applications.Oracle Programming capabilities.Knowledge of APIs, Webservices (SOAP & REST), xml.Preferred Skills and Experience:Experience configuring transaction taxes and related master data within ORACLE.Experience with integrating third-party enterprise tax products (e.g. ONESOURCE Determination, ONESOURCE Compliance, Avalara, Sovos, CCH, Sabrix, Taxware and/or Vertex) is highly desirable.Ability to write/modify existing integration software and integrate software applications and modules in accordance with agreed upon specifications, created in partnership with others.Create and execute unit testing ensuring software meets requirements.Object Oriented Programming Experience.A ORACLE Certification.What's in it For You?You will join our inclusive culture of world-class talent, where we are committed to your personal and professional growth through comprehensive benefit plans; flexible and supportive benefits for work-life balance; and resources for mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.In the United States, Thomson Reuters offers a comprehensive benefits package to our employees, including market competitive health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance programs, as well as a competitive 401k plan with company match.Thomson Reuters is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer providing a drug-free workplace.
