Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Client Services to lead our Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act Program and ensure increased productivity in our services to the Native American community in RI, NY, CT, MA, NJ & DE. This role is pivotal in managing client relationships, driving customer satisfaction, and overseeing the execution of our services.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, understand the objectives of the program, the performance requirements, develop staff proficiency and a wide outreach initiative within the service area. The Director of Client Services will answer directly to the Executive Director and oversee the main contract project. The incumbent will also create initiatives and develop proper execution of check requests, case management, events, staff policies and procedures as well as follow the policies established by the organization.

Must have the ability to rotate skills gaps and apply training initiatives for staff efficiency. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, internet explorer, online search engine, and previous knowledge of Federal Forms related to Indian Service and/or Health and Human Services.

The candidate must possess proven experience organizing and directing multiple objectives and programs, streamlining strategic initiatives, overseeing program management, and communicating objectives between departments and the Executive Team. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a community action and supervisory/management role, with a special focus on executive-level reporting and advising.

Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field is desired. Combinations of education and/or work experience may substitute. High school diploma or equivalent is required.

8+ years in a directive role.

Proven experience in navigating and delivering services to a client population to meet performance targets is strongly preferred.

Excellent communicator in written and verbal form.

Extremely versatile, dedicated to efficient productivity, and goal-oriented.

Experience planning and leading strategic initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

Nonprofit experience is a plus but not a requirement.

Experience with data analysis.

Experience with budget management.

The ability to work with Consultants.

Proven success in a project coordination role.

Strong project reporting skills.

Oversee monthly reporting.
