Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D CWRLocation: Hackensack, NJ 07601Duration: 3 MonthsJob Summary:The Registered Nurse is responsible for evaluating patients and assisting physicians with patient care. Key duties include:Planning, implementing, and documenting nursing care based on patient needs.Identifying patient needs and determining priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.Developing and coordinating individualized care plans for patients based on ongoing assessments.Initiating assessments based on patient problems, physician diagnoses, and the functional health framework.Performing therapeutic nursing interventions and managing patient care.Documenting care based on standards of practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.Advocating for evidence-based practices and supporting the adoption of care delivery innovations.Providing patient-centric care in alignment with professional nursing practice models.Other duties as assigned.Skills:Minimum of 2 years in Labor & Delivery (L&D).EPIC experience preferred.Additional preferred requirements: Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring.The candidate must pass a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding.At least 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred.Education:Required: ASN.Preferred: BSN.Certifications & Licensure:Required:BLS (AHA).NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license.Preferred:ACLS.Advanced AWOHNN or EFM.Languages: English (Speak, Read, Write).Minimum Degree Required: Associate's Degree (Community College, MBO).Hours per Week: 36Hours per Day: 12Days per Week: 3Schedule Notes:7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 13 weeks.Every other weekend required.Holidays required.No on-call.Minimum of 2 years in L&D.EPIC experience preferred.Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC in electronic fetal monitoring preferred.At least 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred.
