Weekly Pay Range - $2270 To $2522 Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor and Delivery Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend and holidays required Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery, recent experience required; 6 months of L&D travel nurse experience required, 1 year preferred License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - Required: BLS-AHA- Preferred: ACLS, Advanced AWHONN or EFM Must-Have: - EPIC experience preferred- Either AWOHNN (intermediate or advanced) or NCC certification in electronic fetal monitoring preferred- Successful completion of a basic fetal monitoring test during onboarding Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patients' needs.- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients based on assessments.- Initiate assessments based on patients' problems or needs, the physician's medical diagnosis, and the functional health framework.- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.- Manage patient care.- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and/or clinical priorities.- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery.- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model.- Complete other duties as assigned.
