Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D CWR

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Labor & Delivery (L&D) with Circulation in Operating Room (OR) and Postpartum care Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 3 x 12-hour shifts per week, every other weekend, with 3 out of 6 holidays required Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum experience not specified License: NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license Certifications: - Required: Basic Life Support - American Heart Association (BLS-AHA), LDRP training - Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Advanced Association of Women's Health, Obstetric, and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN), or Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) Must-Have: - Ability to circulate in the OR for cesarean sections - Skill in providing newborn care - Experience managing patients on Magnesium Sulfate Job Description: - Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for assigned patients- Initiate assessments based on patient problems or needs, physician medical diagnoses, and functional health frameworks- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions and manage patient care- Document care based on standards of care and practice, patient acuity, and clinical priorities- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of evidence-based practices and innovations in care delivery- Provide patient-centric care in alignment with the professional nursing practice model- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
