Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 - 19:00, Day and Night Shifts Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum 1 year License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Medical/Surgical experience Job Description: - Work in a unit with 32 beds and a dedicated team of 50 staff members.- Collaborate with a team that includes charge nurses, registered nurses, and patient care technicians.- Manage patient ratios of 1:5 during the day and 1:6 at night.- Utilize equipment such as vital signs machines and communication devices like iPhones and radios with headsets.- Operate within an EMR system using Meditech.- Opportunity for permanent positions within the unit.- Preferred experience with transplants, dialysis, and diabetic patients, as well as ACLS certification.- Perform a variety of surgical procedures including kidney transplants.- Foster a team-oriented environment and take initiative in patient care.- Adhere to a dress code with navy scrubs.
