Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Not Specified Experience: Minimum of 1 Year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Candidates without NIH, BLS, and ACLS will not be considered. Job Description: - Work in an Intensive Care Unit with 22 beds.- Collaborate with a team of approximately 60 staff members.- Manage patient ratios typically 1:2, occasionally 1:1 depending on patient needs.- Utilize equipment such as IABP, Impella, Ventilator, Arterial Line, Swan-Ganz catheters, SLED/TABLO machines, Belmont rapid infuser, traction, EVD, nitric oxide, and Hemisphere EMR Meditech.- Contribute to procedures including rapid sequence intubation, CABG and valve replacements, Thrombectomies, EVD insertions, SLED/TABLO, MTP, Cardioversion, IABP/Impella, TNK administration, vasopressors, and IV sedation.- Demonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.- Exhibit strong teamwork skills and the ability to accept constructive criticism.- Advocate for patient safety.- Adhere to the dress code of navy-colored scrubs.- Position supported by a recognized department with awards such as the Team Daisy Award and Best Throughput Award.- Engage with the only inpatient unit recognized recently for having no falls. Preferred Skills: - Candidates with Trauma credentials (TNCC, CATN, TNCC, TCAR) and post-op cardiac surgery experience are considered an asset.
