Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Neuro Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: Critical Care experience Job Description: - Work in the ICU with a focus on neurological patient care.- Engage in a team-oriented environment; must be a team player willing to share knowledge and accept constructive criticism.- Handle critical care equipment such as Edwards Hemosphere, Cerelink, Arctic Sun, CRRT (Tablo), Impella.- Manage patient ratios of 1:2, ensuring high-quality care.- Participate in department huddles before shifts and mandatory unit monthly meetings.- Accurately clock in before shifts and report any corrections via Kronos Edit Sheet.- Contribute to a positive work environment and partake in unit awards and recognition programs like the Daisy Award and Employee of the Month.- Follow dress code: Scrub colors should be Galaxy Blue, Cobalt Blue, or Royal Blue. - Ensure daily pictures of central lines/foleys are uploaded.- Perform typical procedures including CABG, TAVR, and Kidney Transplants.- Enjoy a supportive unit that holds events such as departmental kickball games and offers opportunities for professional growth.
