Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Emergency Department Job Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift, 18:45-07:15, rotating weekends Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Texas RN licensure or appropriate compact Certifications: ACLS or ALS, BCLS or BLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC (if no PALS), CPI (must obtain within 6 weeks of start date) Must-Have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered Job Description: - Work in a 41-bed unit with a team comprising 90 staff members.- Day and night shifts include 1 charge, 1 trauma, 1 unit clerk, and 9 RNs along with mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid shifts.- Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 core; 1:6 in fast track scenarios.- Utilize EMR Meditech; training provided during orientation.- Available permanent positions on the unit.- Required skill set includes ACLS/ALS, BCLS/BLS, ENPC or PALS, TNCC, and CPI (within 6 weeks of onboarding).- Uniform consists of royal blue scrubs and closed-toed shoes (no crocs with holes).- Embrace a positive working attitude to fit well within the team.- Orientation sessions cover specialized equipment details.- The facility offers enticing incentives like new equipment or technology, a well-tenured staff, and flexible scheduling options to attract talent.This Emergency Department relies on teamwork and professional development to deliver the highest standard of patient care.
