Position Summary:The Sr. Quality Data Specialist is responsible for Data Analytics, Data Visualization, Key Performance Indicators, Presentations, Reports, and special projects. The Quality Data Specialist is critical in ensuring that data is accurate, accessible, and usable for various organization needs. In addition, they will support the various Business Systems used throughout the organization and the implementation and improvement of the Quality Management System. This position reports to the QMS and Business Systems Manager.
Roles Responsibilities:
Define and create Data Analytics for the Processes at STARPLUS ENERGY including charts, drill downs and other reports as needed with SpotfireProvide Key Performance Indicator(s) for the Quality Department and business at required frequenciesDevelop and maintain dashboards for CQO, C-Level Executives, Business systems, Management Reviews and other needsCreate Management review presentations for Quality Management System in PowerPoint from the data analytics and Key Performance IndicatorsMaintain and improve other reports needed by the businessWrite queries as needed for data and data warehousesSupport the implementation of IATF16949 and ISO17025 as neededPerform other position related duties as assigned
Requirements
Qualifications:
Basic:
Bachelor Degree in computer science or related area from an accredited university (related areas may include: Economics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering)Ability to create dashboards for Key Performance Indicators and other business needsAbility to create SQL queries and write softwareAdvanced skills in Microsoft office products including: PowerPoint, Excel and WordData Analytics and Visualization experience in Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire or similar applicationsCritical thinking and Problem Solving skillsAdvanced time management, organizational, written, and oral communication skillsAdvanced interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees.Proficient in Data Validation and VerificationAbility to learn new softwareAbility to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as requiredWhile travel is unlikely, the ideal candidate will be able to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)Preferred:
Advanced degree or higher in Computer Science, Business or related fieldData Analytics certificationData Analytics with SpotfireProficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or ScalaSupporting business decisions by ensuring that high-quality, accurate data is available to stakeholders when needed for Data Driven Decision MakingAdvanced Critical thinking and Problem Solving skillsExpertise in building and refining predictive models that can forecast trends, behaviors, or outcomes.Automotive or secondary battery manufacturing process experienceBilingual English/Korean
