Position Summary:

Servesas the technical authority regarding multiple applications supportingenterprise business processes.Works tocontinually assess and improve business needs and formulates solutions throughthe use of enterprise related applications and initiates and leads relatedprojects.

KeyResponsibilities/Duties:

Serveas point of contact and technology advocate for all assigned applicationsand the gathering of business requirements from Port Houston stakeholdersregarding the design, development and testing of business processsolutions supporting applications and functionality.AssistIT management with creating and maintaining positive relationships with PortHouston departments and senior Port Houston management by working withavailable resources to continually prioritize enterprise system projectsand support while communicating progress and maintainingproject/maintenance documentation of the highest detail and accuracy.Workindependently or as a member of a project team to provide technicalguidance related to the business implications of enterprise systems andapply your application/technical knowledge to ensure that all businesssystems are performing efficiently and that customers are provided withrequired services.Continuallymeet with the business users to review, document, and analyze theeffectiveness and efficiency of existing systems, processes, and workflowsto develop and execute strategies for improving or further leveragingthese systems, including leading design sessions, prototyping new systems,specifying system enhancements, and implementing third party solutions.Actin accordance with Port Houston core values (respect, excellence,accountability, diligence, and you)Performother duties as requiredAll Specialties

Design, build, test, document, and maintain business processes as well as draft and update associated data flow diagrams and interfaced Source-to-Target mapping.Technicallyfamiliar with associated physical and virtual hardware, software,middleware, architecture, and accoutrements pertinent to maintain functionalityand application security.Keep current with application related technology trends and innovations.Familiar with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Secure File Transfer Protocols (SFTP)9.Supportsand troubleshoots enterprise applications applying updates and patching.Implementsand tests updates.Mentor,advise, and train Information Technology team members and business users.Collaboration Specialty

Responsible for driving the implementation, upgrade, testing, and support of M365/O365, SharePoint, and other collaboration tools.Administer and support Electronic Records Management (ERM) software and Information Governance (Gimmal or similar).Understanding of Data Loss Prevention (DLP) compliance measures.Five (5) years hands on experience in the administration of SharePoint, and M365/O365 services administration.Three (3) years hands on experience scripting with PowerShell, Power Platforms (including and not limited to Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI), and Distributed File System (DFS).Three (3) years administrating MicrosoftTeams.Business Intelligence Specialty

Utilize various tools to extract, transform and analyze business, financial, economic and industry data from disparate software products to answer professional questions, propose feasible resolutions, and make informed decisions.Develop content data repositories to deliver key strategic insights to the executive audience via Business and Metrics review meetings.Define, manage, and maintain data governance to ensure business intelligence integrity.Architecting scalable data pipelines across on-premise and cloud data repositories.Validate Business Intelligence (BI) solutions, compare data sets, access source systems and conferring with business users.Three (3) years hands on experience with Oracle and Microsoft BI Stacks including SQL Server, SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Analysis Services (SSAS), Integration Services (SSIS) and Power BI.Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Specialty in Finance

Supports Workday Enterprise Resource Planning application.Supports ancillary business process related applications (Hyperion or similar)Providesfunctional expertise providing support within ERP configuration andfunctional skillsets to enhance performance in technical areas includingand not limited to:Finance(Including and not limited to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Treasury, Budgets), Procurement, RealEstateSix(6) years hands on experience providing functional ERP support.Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Specialty in Human Capital Management

Supports Workday Enterprise Resource Planning application.Supports timecard collection system (Kronos or similar)Providesfunctional expertise providing support within ERP configuration andfunctional skillsets to enhance performance in technical areas includingand not limited to:HumanCapital Management (HCM) (Including and not limited to Payroll, Benefits, Learning, Human Resources, Employment Lifecycle Management)Six(6) years hands on experience providing functional ERP support.Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)Specialty in Asset Management

Supports Workday Enterprise Resource Planning application.Supports Asset Management systems (M5, Maximo, or similar)Providesfunctional expertise providing support within ERP configuration andfunctional skillsets to enhance performance in technical areas includingand not limited to:Inventory,Maintenance, Work Order Management, Real EstateSix(6) years hands on experienceproviding functional ERP support.Education/Experience:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Information Systems, or related major from a public or accredited private academic institution required; equivalent work experience in lieu of a undergraduate degreeBachelor's degree preferred7+ years of related information technology experienceCertifications are a plusKnowledge, Skills, Abilities and Behaviors:

Financialand operational reporting.Beneficialto have knowledge in the following areas and supporting software:SQLMicrosoftOffice Suite of Applications including and not limited to Word, Excel,Access, Visio, and Project.NavisN4 or similarProjectManagement
