The Treasury Manager plays a crucial role in managing an organization's financial resources, optimizing cash flow, and ensuring liquidity. This position requires a skilled financial professional to oversee cash management, investments, debt financing, and risk management strategies. The Treasury Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies that align with the company's objectives while safeguarding its financial stability. This management positionwill lead the relationships with the company's banks/lenders, implement and manage cash forecasting models, ensure sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational requirements, secure financial operations by monitoring and approving financial processing, manage numerous impress and trust accounts, and support key controls.

Duties and Responsibilities

Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short-term cash needs.

Implement strategies to maximize cash efficiency and minimize idle balances.

Coordinate banking relationships, manage bank accounts, andidentify opportunities to better utilize the organizations bank services

Develop and execute investment strategies for surplus funds.

Evaluate and select suitable investment instruments.

Monitor investment performance and compliance with company policies.

Assess the organization's capital structure and financing needs.

Negotiate and manage debt agreements, including loans and credit facilities.

Optimize debt terms to minimize interest costs.

Identify and assess financial risks, including foreign exchange and interest rate risk.

Implement risk mitigation strategies, such as hedging and insurance.

Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting the treasury function.

Prepare and present regular reports on cash flow, liquidity, and treasury activities.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Develop accurate cash flow forecasts to support financial planning and decision-making.

Continuously refine forecasting models based on actual results.

Establish and maintain robust internal controls related to treasury operations.

Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accounting standards.

Manage depreciation schedules, depreciation of fixed assets.

Supervise and mentor treasury staff, if applicable.

Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team environment.

Manage operations and liquidity management strategies

Create scalable workflows and implement company-wide treasury processes

Manage offshore resources, activities, and relationships and discover and initiate potential new relationships

Track and report on operating/capital leases, credit line usage, and letters of credit

Approve ledger entries by auditing transactions

Support annual audits by providing information and responses to auditors

Manage and accurately complete periodic bank exams and appraisals

Ensure compliance with weekly and monthly collateral reporting

Ensure compliance with bank credit agreement(s)

Manage FCC filing

Requirements and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or CTP (Certified Treasury Professional) preferred.

Proven experience in treasury management, with at least 5 years in a senior treasury role.

Strong financial analysis skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.

Knowledge of financial instruments, cash management techniques, and investment strategies.

Proficiency in treasury management systems and financial software.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in financial reporting.

Familiarity with regulatory compliance and financial risk management.

Strategic thinking and the ability to develop and execute treasury strategies in line with organizational goals.

Integrity and discretion in handling sensitive financial information.

Experience in a privately owned company with regulatory experience

Ambitious and self-starting

Demonstrated ability to create solutions in the financial environment

Strong sense of urgency

Proficient with the Microsoft suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, and Powerpoint.

Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across departmental functions
