Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Demand Planner with a strong background in food manufacturing or CPG to join our team. This role is pivotal in driving demand planning activities, including monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and maintaining monthly operations forecast files. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team to estimate future product demand, translating these estimates into a comprehensive operations forecast that will guide supply chain activities.

This role is pivotal in driving demand planning activities, including monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and maintaining monthly operations forecast files. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the sales team to estimate future product demand, translating these estimates into a comprehensive operations forecast that will guide supply chain activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
- Support management by conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Propose and execute strategies to enhance demand forecast accuracy.
- Effectively communicate forecast and inventory levels to management.
- Monitor and report significant changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
- Establish and maintain monthly forecasts to drive Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and production schedules.
- Contribute significantly to monthly S&OP activities.
- Address demand-related challenges promptly and effectively.
- Coordinate demand for new product introductions and limited time offers (LTOs) within the overall demand framework.
- Commit to fostering a culture of safety, ensuring a secure work environment.
- Participate in other projects and duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Finance is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing, engineering, or other supply chain functions.
- Experience across multiple supply chain disciplines, such as manufacturing, logistics, procurement, R&D, and quality, is highly preferred.
